Introduction

You have no idea what GnomeNetwork is, but are still interested in it.

Well, the Gnome Network is basically a website that allows people to create "Profiles" and modify them in any way they want.

Then they can share these profiles with whomever they want.

Modifications of profiles include uploading images, creating text boxes (similar to this one), adding links to other pages or images, and almost anything that professionals do in regards to web design.

The difference here is that we provide you with a very unique and easy to understand set of tools to allow you to manipulate your profile in any way you want.

Infopools:

Similar to a "table", infopools are nothing more than boxes that contain data.

Once you create an infopool, you can add images and textboxes to them, thereby splitting an infopool into "cells".

So if you create an infopool and add a textbox, one cell will be created, and within that cell the added textbox will appear.

if you then add an image, another cell will be added and the uploaded image will appear in that cell.

You can control how the cells are split by choosing how many you want per row. Once the row limit is reached a new row is created.

You can have infopools within infopools. In fact, to perform any advanced designs it becomes necessary to have sub-infopools.

Textboxes:

Textboxes are basically blocks of text. When you create a new one, you can decide what font you want, size, color, attributes, spacing, alignment and more.

Each textblock can only be formatted one way. You cannot have a bold character within one text block, although you can simulate that using infopools.

You may also link textblocks to another URL on the web, another profile, or an uploaded image.

Images:

Images are images. You can upload an image from your computer and save it in an image pool.

Once in an image pool, you can place that image in a cell in an infopool, or you can link to it via a textblock or another image.

You can link images to anything you like, including URLs on the web, another infopool within this profile, another profile, or an image.

Innapropriate image uploading will result in de-activation.

Linking:

You can link images and textblocks. You can link to a URL on the web, an image in your image pool, another infopool in your profile, or another profile.

When linking to an image, a new window will pop up fitting the target image.

When linking to an infopool in the profile, the page will scroll down to that infopool when clicked (similar to the table of contents at the top of this page).

When linking to a profile, the page will go to another profile of yours on the gnome network. This can be used to create a string of profiles.

Misc:

Copying and pasting: You can copy and paste infopools, textblocks, images, and any other parts. If you copy an infopool, all the sub objects will also be copied.

Moving: If you move a component up, it will be moved one step higher than the component above it in a specific infopool. Same goes for moving a component down.

Color wheel: Since HTML colors are abstract, we provide you with a Color Wheel which you can use as reference for a plethora of colors.
